Dead Livestock Removal
- The cost for the removal of a dead animal is $25.00 per animal. The only exception is a dead cow and a newborn calf in which case the charge is $25.00 for the cow and an additional $10.00 for the calf.
- All animals MUST be moved out of a field or barn to a gate and/or driveway.
- The payment must be left with the animal or payed at the shelter. The animal WILL NOT be picked up until payment has been received.
- Removal services should be requested before 12:00 noon if requested to be picked up the same day.
- Requests may be made by calling the shelter at (606) 679-6432 or by submitting the following form. Please include your exact contact information and address or detailed directions to the location. We will then call you to verify the information, if necessary.
